Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how 24MathGames (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and this website. By using the app or site, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
24MathGames is a math puzzle game. For privacy or support requests, contact 24MathGames Support. Online game features (account sync, purchases, and related services) are provided through our secure servers over HTTPS.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. You can play as a guest with an automatically assigned GG ID (stored on your device and our servers for continuity on that device). If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier from Apple and may receive a display name (and email only if you choose to share it with us). You may set a custom nickname in the app; we validate it against content rules. We use this to create and operate your account.
- Game data. Progress, scores, rank, settings, hint balance (system-granted, ad, and purchased categories tracked server-side), achievements, and purchase history tied to your account. With Sign in with Apple, progress and unused purchased hints can sync across devices.
- Device and app data. Basic technical data needed to run the service (e.g. app version, locale preference, request headers such as
X-Locale). - Analytics data (app). We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g. screens visited, sessions, crashes, and basic device/OS information). This helps us improve features and stability. Where allowed by your device settings, analytics may also use advertising identifiers.
- Analytics data (website). Our site at 24mathgames.com uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and general usage. See Google’s policies for how they process this data.
- Advertising data. If you use rewarded ads, our ad partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and related data. On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission before personalized advertising where required.
- Local storage. The app stores preferences (e.g. language, sound) on your device using standard iOS storage APIs.
- Game Center data. If you use Game Center leaderboards, Apple processes your Game Center profile (e.g. alias) and Speed mode scores you submit when you set a new personal best. This is handled under Apple’s Game Center service and Apple’s privacy policy.
- Sharing. When you tap Share, you choose a destination (Messages, Mail, social apps, etc.) via the iOS share sheet. We do not receive the content you send to third parties.
- In-app messages. We deliver service messages (for example welcome notes and announcements) through the Inbox. We store delivery, read, and claim status, including optional hint rewards attached to a message.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the game and cloud sync
- Measure app and website usage with analytics to improve the product
- Process in-app purchases and restore entitlements
- Show optional rewarded advertisements and limit ad frequency
- Compute anonymized in-app standing (Top X%) on our servers without publishing your account display name
- Submit Speed mode personal bests to optional Apple Game Center leaderboards when you choose to use that feature
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with law and protect against abuse
- Deliver in-app service messages and optional hint rewards through the Inbox
4. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish your account display name on our own in-app standing. Optional Game Center leaderboards are operated by Apple and may show your Game Center alias alongside your scores.
5. Sharing with third parties
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store in-app purchases (Apple processes payment; we verify receipts on our servers), and optional Game Center leaderboards (Apple processes your Game Center profile and submitted Speed scores).
- Google (Firebase Analytics) — App usage measurement and product analytics, subject to Google’s policies.
- Google (AdMob) — Rewarded video ads, subject to Google’s policies and your device privacy choices.
- Google (Analytics on our website) — Traffic measurement on 24mathgames.com.
- Service providers — Hosting and infrastructure that runs our game services, under reasonable confidentiality and security practices.
6. Tracking
The iOS app may use data for analytics and advertising purposes. Cross-app tracking or use of advertising identifiers occurs only where allowed by your device settings (App Tracking Transparency). You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Website analytics on 24mathgames.com does not use App Tracking Transparency.
7. Data retention
We retain account and game data while your account is active. You may delete your account in the app via Settings → Delete Account. If you sign in again with the same Apple ID after deletion, you may choose to restore previous progress or start fresh. You may also contact us to request deletion. We may retain certain records where required by law or billing rules.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.
9. Security
We use HTTPS for API communication and industry-standard practices to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International users
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using the app you consent to such processing where permitted by law.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy where allowed by law.
